the e-brake on my CLS has to go through 7-8 clicks. Helmes ask for 1-2 clicks so the e-brakes to be fully applied.. and a max of 4 clicks.
BTW, even when e-brake is applied.. my CLS keeps moving if I forget to release the e-brake.![Dunno](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
On the other hand, the e-brakes on the sienna would hold like if you are tied to a wall!!

Mine was loose when I picked it up brand new, and it's really loose now. I've asked our friends at Sunnyside to tighten it, but they seem to forget. Of course, I forget to bitch about it, too!

My 2001 is tighter than my 2002 so I'm having the dealer adjust it during the 30K checkup. If someone knows how to do it themselves, send me the directions...

I just adjusted mine, extremely easy:
1) release the e-brake
2) reach to e-brake pedal arm, attacted ti its right side a plastic knob
3) twist the knob clockwise few turns and this should tighten up the e-brake cable.

Mine has been adjusted several times by the the dealership.
It was done at the 15K service & 30K service & another time when I asked.
I just got the rear brake pads replaced last month & they did it then. I also forget to release it sometime for a few seconds after I pull off. This is my 1st auto tranny car that I have owned in my 22yrs of owning car myself. The other 3 new cars I had all had 5 sp manual with pull up E-brake.
