Have some CLS Mod questions

On the comptech site, they say that the new headers will give you a maximum of 32hp gain, do you have to replace the pipes and exhaust to get that much? How much if you replace just the headers and downpipes?

On the autocarparts site, they have replacement rotors that are cross drilled, 300+ per pair. They also have these cross drilled wheel simulators for like $40, what are those? I have a feeling that im gonna need to spend close to $1000 for cross cut rotors and brakes pads to match the color.

Ok, last thing, has anyone heard/used a Cosmo Racing CAI for the CL?

Thanks guys.

Re: Have some CLS Mod questions

In order:

32HP gain at the wheels is what Comptech advertises. Dynos by members have shown 28-32whp. That's just the headers. Exhaust will get you about 2-4hp max....

The simulators I believe go behind the rim to look like cross-drilled. Don't do that. As for the rotors... plenty of info in this topic..... http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...=cross+drilled

Never heard of Cosmo Racing. The popular brands you'll see on here are AEM, Injen, and Weapon-R. I personally went with Injen......

but there is a noticeable gain throughout the rpm range. and massive gains in vtec. the seat of the pants difference between a stock type s and one with i/h/e is huge.
