Have to know....If I were to sale my CL-S.......

...this is especially for anyone in the DFW area... I've got under 5000 miles on my CL type S w/Navi (also see sig. below). If I were to sell it today how much would it go for? I'm not trying to take bids or anything. I need to know since there's no resale info. anywhere and I've been contemplating the idea of selling the car. BTW, I just bought the car in May. The car is like new inside and out with the exception of the curb rashes on two rims and the aftermarket goodies I put on it.

The problem is that most times, the only person who cares about the aftermarket stuff is you.

Unless you find someone who really wants the car for those things you've added, any mods are a total loss.

My $.02

yah..buyer does not care how much u pay for your mods... they just pay your car price either with all the mods on or all the mods off..and if the mods are off..u got to think a way to sell your used mods...like what i did for my last car.... u need to sell them cheap and piece by piece..that is why i want to keep my cls as stock as possible... u know i spent over $6000 mods on my 96 honda accord..and the time to sell it.. i took some mods off and those mods were only worth like $1500...becasue some mods u can not take off.. u need to pay extra labor to take them off..such as my brembo corss drill rotors and pads....koni shocks..

Thanks for the info. fellas...I am aware of the little resale value aftermarket items have on a car. In fact, all the mods I have are easily removable and the car can be returned to stock. I didn't mean to place a value on my mods when I referenced my sig. All I'm really trying to do is get the market value on an '01 CL-S w/nav and spoiler with about 4,700 miles and in showroom condition with the exception of the scratched wheels. Furthermore, the car is garaged and "babied" (as any good type S parent would do).

Since no one has asked yet, what other car/s are you interested in?

I really don't want to discuss that yet as that opens up a whole new (well not that new) topic. I'm still contemplating whether it's worth taking a hit on the CL-S to go pick up another car.
