This has me thinking what's the deal with our turning radius??

OK I'm sure everyone knows by now that the turning radius for the TypeS is larger than the turning radius for the Premium (from lock to lock, when we turn in a circle the Premium will turn tighter than a Type S).

Anyone know why?? Why is this better??

I don't know it's just slow Sunday...

I assume part of the reason is the CLS's wider wheels.

If they turned more you would rub maybe?

It looks like both cars have the same setup, but since the Type S's larger wheels would rub, they just moved our stops in.

I believe it's the suspension/steering on the Type S, that limits the amount of clearance for the front wheels to turn.

Right. It isnt better.

This is one thing that does make me wish I had a bimmer... not only do those things turn much shorter then us normally... but if you floor it that RWD will help you turn on a dime

Oh well... we can shorten are turning radius too if we start the turn at 20mph and hit the parking brake

I love how the IS300 just turns so easily, then again if we were the size of a remote controlled car by Tamiya we would turn that quick too.
