Has this ever happened to anyone?

I started my car the other day and it was really wierd.At idle,the rpm was up around 2 grand.I turned the car off,waited a while and started it again,everything was fine.It has been fine since.

yea... ive been told this happens in my old CL... never happened while I was driving it though.
