Has it ever been done?

Has anyone ever swapped the '03 CLS 6spd into a TLS? i highly doubt it considering the CLS is fairly new but it is possible right? seeing as its basically the same car with 2 less doors?

Well, people have discussed it in swapping the 6sp into an auto CL, and we all tally it at about $10,000 for the job. Also, nothing will be warranteed this way.....Save up, and trade to a CLS6sp if you want the manual

I second the law whore's (JaredGMS) comments. It really isn't cost effective and would have no warranty whatsoever, and by the time you got it done you could have spent another 5-9k and gotten the 6speed, which has more potential for modification as far as FI is concerned.

The 6 speed seems unlikely; but, you can contact allmotor about a turbo kit. A kit for automatics has been made.
