Just curious, I came across a 330i sport today at college. I talked to the guy a little and we decided to go at it on the main drag outside of school. We both got a good start, I made a bad shift into second and lost traction but I was able to make it up and we ran nose to nose until we had to let off at 95mph. Wanted to know if any of you CLS have had a crack at one.

According to Motor Trend, I think it said it was fsater than our car, but i will never believe that!!HAHAHA, our cars r unstopable!!!! But motor trend also said our car does 0-60 in 6.4 instead of 6.5. Kinda interesting

Yeah, I think that MT said 0-60 on those is 6.1 or 6 flat something like that. I had no clue what was going to happen before we raced but I am very impressed with it.

Tasty huh, unless you raced an automatic or have some serious mods I am going to start rolling up my pants because the shit is getting deep. The CLS is a fast car, but it's no M3. Hell I've outdone a couple of you guys in my 535. But according to you guys they didn't know how to drive their automatics.

volsfan drives a brand new Corvette Z06, which should easily beat an M3, automatic or stick.

By the way, just the other day, I raced a new 330. I was driving my 99 M3 (not the CL-S) when a new 330 pulled up next to me at a red light. I guess he wanted to see how he could do agianst an M3.

Well, the 330 is quick, but its no competition for an M3. I beat him pretty easily, and I wasn't really trying too hard. I'd like to see a CL-S vs a 330.

I think the CLS vs. the 330 would be a close one. You have a 260hp front wheel drive car vs a 225hp rear wheel drive car with near 50/50 weight distribution. Would love to see this one on the track.
