Yeah...I raced one....I wasn't even looking and thought it was a freaking GT!!! 
Anyway, he blew by me...but he was still pretty impressed that the CL kept up with him as well as it did, but damn those things are FAST!!! Too bad they're FORDS!!

You gotta remember....those things are no joke....except for the build quality, but anyway, you're looking at a 300-315 hp monster...3200 lbs.....on and,something that we lack somewhat....320lbs.+ torque....don't flame me..these are rough estimates....but pretty close....

5.0 liters versus 3.2? Trust me, a CAI, headers and exhaust won't help... No CL can compete with a Cobra.

About the only Cobra anyone will beat is one not delievered to ford for the horsepower recall -- I actually knew a guy who took delivery on one of these pseudo-320 hp mustang cobras -- floored it a couple times and KNEW something was wrong the very first day he owned it. The car felt as powerful as a V6 'stang. Nevertheless, nobody w/ half a brain is still gunna have one of those cars anymore -- but keep looking!
