Well it's official, the 2002 CL-S was sold and will be on it's way to Chicago this weekend...

It was fun but the cost of ownership and car starting get up there in mileage and years meant it was time for it to go. As such I will not be coming around here as much...

The replacement car is a 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i...

 

Curious - how many miles did you have on it, and what would you estimate your annual cost to own was?

2 transmissions
1 set of engine mounts
A/C repair
4 sets of ball joints
4th gear high pressure switch
end links
sway bar bushings
3 sets of brakes
hood latch and cable
1 headlight yellowed
changed trans fluid every other oil change

about $3400 a year to own including insurance...

 

needed a 6mt. some of that is maintenance though.

 

yes some is required, but a lot of that stuff was excessive replacement..
