Had a good run with TWO other CL-S's today.
Driving on 270 southbound today around 10:30am. One black '03 CL-S behind me, one black '03 CL-S infront. We were crusing down at 100+. The one behind me must have had headers or was a 6-speed becuase he pulled on me pretty hard. He also drove like an idiot. Swerved around the other two of us near the end of our run in an exit lane. He had 35% tint and NAVI. It was fun seeing a streak of black CL-S's at 100+ for a lil bit there.

Why do we always have to justify ourselves everytime someone posts they drove 100+ or "raced"
1) We weren't racing. We were actually cruising in a single file line around 105.
2) Only at the end did the tail car swerve around us.
3) There was no traffic at all.

I can remember 5 cars cruising over 90mpg on 95 leaving from Boston one night, three of them cut 4 lanes to an exit, me and the Jetta kept going, then I passed a cop when I was doing 90+ and then I slowed down.

Racing?
I've converted to the track, it's much more realistic anyway. Everyone's on the same playing field and there's no excuses. It's also a controlled environment, no kids or animal running across the highway unexpectedly. Don't get me wrong, Ive tried all the other BS (street racing, running from cops, etc) but I'm lucky to be alive.

.. but the traffic probably was light..i went 135 going down to LA on I-5... for a while it seems like your going slow.. untill u see a truck.. and it gets bigger and BIgger and BIGGER.. and zoom u pass it by... i did this twice.. and both times it scared me.. i slowed down to 85 the rest of the trip
