h&r OE springs
aren't you running coilovers now? what is the drop rated on the OE springs? I had tanafe NF springs (1" drop) and they sat too high in the front. You need a spring with a rake. the H&R sport is a mild drop and looks great. What shocks are you pairing them with?
Yes I am going to take the teins off. Going with koni yellows. Need to raise the car back up its to low for the roads I have to drive on plus suspension components take a beating on this car. I like the way it looks but I just had to change my axles and all don't want them to wear out fast tired of working on my car.
I remember when I first put them on I had the teins set pretty high since I didn't really want to slam it then and it felt goofy as hell and did not feel proper at all. So I lowered it felt better but car takes a beating if its not on a smooth road.

You have to maintain the car's weight balance. Unless you get the car corner balanced, a lot of having coilovers is going to involve some trial and error. Try raising to the height you want and then slowly mess with just the fronts and just the rears until it feels right.

Don't balance the car to 50/50. The manufacturer did not intend for a car like the CL to have 50/50 weight distribution so it won't feel right. The weight distribution is also dynamic, meaning weight gets transferred around while you're driving, so static weight distribution is a good ballpark but nothing matches road testing the setup.
For example if your fronts feel a little loose in turns and acceleration, raise the height of the rears, or lower the fronts, or do a little of both. The problem is that too much weight is getting pulled off the fronts in acceleration. So starting the rears with some extra height will mean less weight transfer to the back.
i say raise it up and see how it feels, nothing to lose doing that. I had tein basics before and they rode just like stock. do you have aftermarket rims? when i went from 19s to 18s that made a huge difference in comfort, plus i went with a full size (proper) tire.
I'm going to give it a shot. Still have a good feeling that the struts would ride better than these cheap coils but worth a try. I have the stock 17s with 225/45 on all 4 should I get a 50 series tire as well?
being really low definitely puts more stress on things. Our cars are old now so you might have just been due for suspension work.
Do you rub on bumps? Rough roads are going to feel rough no matter what. Unless your springs are really stiff now, changing to H&R OE won't make that much difference i think.

Yeah everything on my front end is new besides the steering rack. I just don't want my new axles to take a beating and go out fast. When this car was at stock height it would roll over anything no sweat and now its a ordeal to roll over the train tracks and shit should have never lowered this bitch

As mentioned via PM here's the H&R OE Sport spring is for the TL but it will fit the CL:
H&R Springs - OE Sport Springs - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!
H&R Springs - OE Sport Springs - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!
It is the closest to the stock size but gives you a little more rubber to deal with the CL's weight and performance.
