Guys thats it Lou is going 6 spd.!!!
Im fed up with all the trannies failing and replaced with ecu troubles and all. Plus the install of the supercharger by Scalbert made me want it even more. THANKS SCALBERT!!!
I don't want a new 6 speeder but I do want the navi so if anybody knows a good deal let me know. As for me I will be looking like crazy for a ANTHRACITE OR AGEAN BLUE CL-S 6 SP. WITH OR W/O NAVI.
Oh yea and my car will have a supercharged by Comptech sticker in the rear real soon. If all goes through as I expect Ill be out of like $5k but hey its only money especially if Ill be driven in a 400 HP monster I will transfer my springs and sways to the 6 speed as well as my lightweight wheels. Things for sale guys are the Comptech headers for the auto and the 2003 taillights since I won't be using these for my new monster.
Here comes low 13s and look out M3 and Porsches.
Guys like I said if you see any used CL-S 6 speed let me know. Anthracite or agean blue but if good deal I could do just about any color.

one thing to note...
CLS is never meant to be a drag racer.... FWD
CLS is never meant to be a raod racer.... FWD and 62/38 weight distribution.
So be careful, with a lot of power and no handling it is dangerous!

I confirmed this today my tranny is slipping from 2 to 3 and Im so damn pissed right now . This only started after the Icebox I wonder what would of happened if I had the headers installed. I am so pissed at Acura's irresponsibilty towards this matter that Im even considering the G35 or 350Z. I would really have liked to go to the 6 speed but on principle alone makes me not want to give Acura any more of my money.FAWKING SHEET now I have to take a day off from work and try to prove to the dealer that my tranny is in fact slipping. Lucky for me all I have is the lightweight wheels and the Ice-box which I doubt will create enough of an excuse for Acura to try to point the finger on.
There will be some great mods up for sale if everything goes according to plan. I am really not looking forward to goin into a new car cause of the depreciation factor but I doubt Ill find a used 350Z so early in its debut.

Bro, You are officially addicted to speed. Be careful, that can be real bad. I seriously think you need either a 350Z or an M3. Or just keep your car and cop the neon srt4 for a while, that should feed your hunger for speed.

whoa, thats crazy to hear this, but i dont see the point in puttin 300+ to the wheels when you got FWD and a 68/32 distribution, getta m3 or 350z and go mod crazy, or do a rwd conversion on the cl-s, that would be dope

Hey Lou... I'd recommend checking out the 350z again. I'll be down in Queens next weekend, so if you want to check out my Z, let me know. I really liked the G35c, but I just didn't want to spend an easy $34-35k, so I went with a $29k Z

I went to the Acura dealer in Wantagh and all the CL-S on the lot where automatics and no used Cl-S whatsoever only premiums. Then I checked out the 350Z I know what you mean about people checking you out in that car cusdaddy the car is beautiful but the inside is kinda Spartan compared to the Cl-S. Then I went to the Infiniti on Sunrise Highway and they had a G35 in Red didn't like it whatsoever. Yes its a great looking car but nothing about it thrilled me at all. So right now as far as Im concern 85% is telling me CL-S 6spd. and 15% is telling me "Z".
Things I didn't like about the Z the first model I went into was so plain. The seats were cloth and had no adjustability at all, the second Z was white with the black leather and did have power seats but still not as comfortable as the Cl-S. I don't know why the power buttons of the seats on the Z as well as the G35 are located on the right side of the seat, it felt like something was poking me on my right leg.

Lou: The interior of the Z is definitely spartan compared to the CL, and it's a shock at first, but I got over it quickly once I started the car. The one thing I really like about the Z interior is the real aluminum inside. Otherwise, the seats are comfortable.
A 6-speed CLS is a nice pick too, just may be hard to find right now used.

I am in the same position as Lou. The thing that i am worried about the 6spd is that if it goes on on me, Acura does not cover it like some of the members of this board, and I might have to fork our some cash to get it replaced!
