back seat piece of cake I don't know what nuts your talking about. Rob I appreciate the favor but I have no clue of how difficult it is to install or uninstall these parts and if its too difficult Ill just pay. I mean I did the install of the headers and boy if I had to do it again Ill just pay somebody that has a lift....me and Titand19 did it but it knocked us out bigtime. If you think its a piece of cake no problem but if its gonna stress you and me out the $200 is not a killer. Thanks bro

Damn Lou, I wish I was home, I'd do it anytime. Of course when I'm home I have nothing to do. I'll be home next week, but you'll probably have them off by then.

i lowered my car and doing it with hand tools and a stock jack it took me 6 hours. Now i have a floor jack and an impact wrench it'll take half that...oh pick up spring compressors too

P.S.-i also had the nut from hell, that wouldn't come off and ended up stripping the bolt, that killed about an horu and a half...plus it was also 11 at night and i was tired

you can ususally rent a spring compressor from Pep boys. If you do make sure you get the one with ends that latches over the spring coils.

Also you will need a ball joint removal tool. Or something to knock the upper ball joint mount out of the socket.

Good luck...it's mucho fun taking a Honda apart. I did springs for my Integra and my CL...real easy to do...

these instructions should tell you what sockets you need: http://www.acura-tl.com/faq.htm#3c

It took me 8 hrs and I did have a compressor and jack stands. I've never done anything like this before. ruined my manicure. I bet I could do it in 4-5 hours now though. Spent 2 hours trying to get the rear lower control arm on. figured out using another jack to get it in place and it went on in 1 min. took me about 2 hours to figure that out.

man some of you guys are way too nice

springs take a long time and its pretty tedious.

i would rather do the whole i/h/e install all over again then do springs!

obviously you've never done headers on a CL. intake and exhaust yeah that takes an hour total, headers are a pain in the ass. Besides doing this shit is what i enjoy, it relaxes me regardless of how frustrated i get
