Finally made the gutter guard grill. The biggest pain was getting all the holes for the screws lined up and the chrome pegs through the Mesh.

I didn't want the A symbol and the plastic looked ugly behind it so I cut it all out. The bad part about it is you see the metal behind it where the Acura symbol was supposed to be bolted too.

It looks a little plain too from far away. I was thinking of putting the red type S symbol from the back on to bottom right corner like how BIMMER people put the AC Shnitzer on the bottom section of the grills. Let me know what you think!!

langjae..........you are to be applauded for your good taste. I have never liked the front grille of these cars, and that is a fine improvement over the original Honda-like setup. QUESTIONS,

1)When you cut out the emblem and center bar, were you able to sand down the area where you cut? Was there a hole to patch or was it pretty clean after your cut? I think that grille with the blackchrome A emblem would be very cool.

2)You found the mesh at.........?

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I'm defintely going with the type S in the front, but I'd wish Comptech would make a tiny plastic "stick-on" saying COMPTECH SPORT..may be a bit rice until there's actually a few more comptech parts in there (ie. supercharger ) But I see AMG and AC Schnitzer symbols on all the grills around here and its definitely a must!!!

The mesh was at Home Depot and when I took out all the plastic behind it, I just used my Dremmel tool to get the fine curves and edges off.

I'll post pics with the A emblem on again. But I'll have to put it on there with some "fun-tac" since there aren't any mor screws.

The only thing I debadged was the 3.2CL type S off the back. I left the ACURA and the A emblem on the back just to break the monotony of the fat round ass that our cars have.

In nyc they're pretty quick and ruthless for things like that especially on pointing out a missing front license plate. I just moved it down a bit, now.

My friend got a 55 dollar ticket for not having his seat belt. He just pulld out of a spot and the cop followed him no more than 10 feet and pulled him over for his seat belt. My friend claimed he was going to do it since he just pulled out of a spot, but the cop said too bad.
