for those that dont know, the gumball 3000 is the european take on the Cannonball which is teh american cross country version, which has equally impressive cars.

for a closer look, Jackass did an episode where they went ont eh gumball 3000 in cars (a jag and something else). It was an hour long special episode

For those that don't know, it's not a european thing. The first one was there, the last 2 were hear, this years is there and then back hear again. players run is another similiar event that is only in the US

the players run is good also. i have the tekademics videos of the last players run. that shit is just too funny and nutz. nothing like seein a ferrari f50 pulled over by 4 cruisers and an SS interceptor with is hood and trunk opened. why do they always make them pop everythign open. the lambo even had both door up.. they lookin for more tickets or just want to see some bad ass engineering?

What about the Silver State Challenge? Anybody heard of it? Drive as fast as you can for 90 miles in Las Vegas legally and doesn't cost 6k.

i was signed up for the gumball race last year but ended up having to back out due to other obligations, would have been a blast. the 6k is the least of your problems, youll have double that in court fees and lawyers by the time the trip is over and its extremely hard on your car. tons of paint chips etc, i talked to a couple guys who have done it and they had to repaint their front bumpers
