Damnit! Last night sucked ass! It all started with my mother going to the hospital emergency room because she blacked out for no reason at work that day. Well, I was talking with her all day and staying in touch. Well, they released her at about 2am that night but pending further testing. So, they told her to get some rest and take it easy at home but she needed her car to be at home just in case. Well, naturally I volunteered to get it from her work which is a 45 minute drive -- no biggie though. Well, I was heading back and talking with the gf on the phone because I was just not in the right state of mind about this whole thing -- I mean my mom never gets sick so it had me worried. Anyways, the next thing I see is the flashing blue lights in my mirror. I thought, "oh great - I have no idea how fast I was going, no idea where the registration is, doh!" Well, the officer was really nice, I told him what happened with my mother and that I was just no paying attention so he didnt give me wreckless, just speeding. The fine is only $3 per mph and a $30 admin. cost so that comes to $108 - no biggie at all but it still made my day suck!

Damn, you got off lucky. I just finished up on a ticket that was 62 in a 35. Hurts to the tune of $254.....ouch.
