Hey Guys I just placed my ored for the sills. Yea I know that I'm alittle late but I did say that I was going to jump on it.

Anyway, after countless calls and left messages to Jeff I finially got though, no he never called me, I got through to him. Well he was able to make a batch of the thicker sills that I requested. Only problem was that it was going to take longer. He said that it would take 1 week from today's purchase for it to be in the mail. Compared to the thinner sills that are allready to be shipped. Oh and still the same price. So if u guys want thicker sills it is gonna cost u time, not money, same price $62 shipped.

Can I get in on this? I'm a 1st gen CL. We had a group buy on these but when I tried to contact APsignworks, they didn't answer any of my emails of phone calls. Everyone over on the 1stgen side we pleased with their doorsills. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

Guys I re recently recieved my sills about a 1.5 weeks ago. Even though I placed my order over a month ago.

Now here is my biggest concern. I spoke with Jeff about the thicker sills and I do not believe that these are the 1/8" that Jeff quoted me on sending. They are the thickness of 8 printer papers. I've been trign to get my friend's caliper to measure the thickness of the sills, but I really don't think that these are the 1/8" that I was promissed. Reason is because I can't emagine the sills that I have now could be any thinner.

But I specifically asked for 1/8".

Ok let me ask all u guys about how thick are ur sills. Are they the same thickness of mine, 8 sheets of printer paper?

This is BS my order was delayed because he told me that they need to send out for the 1/8" thick sheet of aluminium. Then when it was delayed again they told me that they were moving and that there will be a small delay in recieving my sills. When I got pissed becasue it was now taking more than a month Jeff told me that the sills were dammaged in the moving and it caused my order to be delayed again.

I really think that these are 1/16" sills that I recieved. Although I am worried in asking to have the sills that I have now for 1/8" that would take another 2 months.

It's too bad that he sent you the wrong ones if that indeed is the case. But I haven't yet had any problems with my 1/16'' ones. They stuck so well even in this hot Texas summer heat and have never even budged. I didn't use any superglue or anything, just the 3M tape. I've had it on for a month, through people's abuse and stepping on it from the back seat coming out, etc etc... They still look great and have had no problems with them so far.

Don't you think it's overdoing it a tad with the 1/8'' ?

Yours sounds like tehy are the 1/8" b/c mine are not nearly as thick as 8 sheets of paper.

I really don't think that I have the 1/16 because I can't imagine them any thinner. Jeff explained to me that when they 1st made the 1/8" people were complaining that they were catching the bottom of the doors. I then explained to him that for me it wouldn't be a problem. My solution to that was to use a Dremel and sand down the ribs in the plastic sills and create a seat for the sills, just like how the M3s are done.
So u are saying that ur sills are thinner than 8 sheets of printer paper. I am having a hard time tring to get my friend's caliper to measure the thickness of the sills to truly determine if they are really 1/8" or 1/16". Do u think u could get ur hands on a caliper and measure ur own then compare that measure to sheets of paper?

paper is of different thicknesses depending on quality. it would be inaccurate for me to measure my paper compared to your paper. It'd be like asking me to see how many steps it takes to get somewhere.
