I posted it for sale to see what happens but do you really think its gonna sell in this forum ....I didnt think so....I want to get a used M3 but the trade in is poor especially considering my mods....thats why I posted it but like I said before I dont expect it to sell but for the amount of $$ that the sills are costing doesnt make a big difference....there are more than the original 10 needed so Im guessing $50 for the sills shipped like the original group buy like 2 years ago

Warning: I had these guys, the brushed aluminum door sills from these guys and they SUCKED. I wasted $68 dollars. They simply don't stick with that 3M adhesive and I tried every other sort of adhesive also. Furthermore, because of the ridges on the sill, barely any surface area actually sticks to the orginal sill. My driver's side one ended up bent and my passenger side one slid out from underneath the door when I was driving one day! I don't recommend them. sorry

we really need to find out about how thick it is because 1/16 sucks but the 1/8 might be better

Sills

I just emailed Jeff and put myself down for brushed CL Type S sills. If you prepare the surface well enough, it shouldn't be a problem with the 3M adhesive.

I'm in. Red Type S. Not sure about brushed or Chrome. Would like to see a pic of Chrome. Also, when will they be shipping if I pay today? I am moving to CA in two weeks and need to know where to have them shipped?

On mine i cleaned it off very well but as 6speedS said they just do not stick well because of the ridges. if they are still 1/16 it really is not worth it because they bend even after you put them on because of the normal wear and tear.

Dude. my 1/8" thick sills never hit the door. It still had plenty of clearence. You have to prep the surface good and it will work fine. The 3m is plenty enough for the sills.

Don't worry too much about them being damaged during shipping. When i got mine they were shipped in a sealed tube. Inside they were wrapped in bubble wrap and sealed tightly. They came out perfect when i got them. Once again been on for 5 months and no problems at all.

how exactly is this a "group buy" if we are being directed to submit payment directly to the manufacturer?

If we get more than 20 it will be even cheaper.. Lets go guys...
your first post stated this price was based on 20 buyers, with a potential discount if more signed up. by your estimate, you've got 40. where is the discount based on more than 20 buyers asshole? If you're a front man for the manufacturer than just say so ... direct payment to the manufacturer is not a groupbuy by any definition. don't get an attitude because somebody asked you a simple question you fuckin little prick.

I'll pay an extra buck for you if you quit being an,.....well you get the picture.

You're wrong about the group buy thing too! Most of them are direct to the manufacturer, and as soon as they get the number of buyers for the group buy, they start sending product.

If you don't like the terms, don't buy em! The terms were pretty simple, but yet instead of reading thru the posts, people just ask over, and over, and over, and over, and over, It gets old and I can see why his answer was a little short.

So STFU you short tempered, little dumb ass!
