Ground Control Coilover Installation...Please Help!

Im about to install my GC coilovers sooooon, and I need to know one thing...If I am not going to SLAM my car with these, do I have to trim the bumpstops, like it says in the directions??? If I just plan to have the car low as a prokit about 2 inches in front and back, do I still have to trim it??? Because I heard once you trim bumpstops and put stock springs back in, the shocks will make squeeking noises...is this true??? please give me some info. thanks!!!

Cutting the bumpstops wont make it lower it will however keep you from bottoming out prematurely if you hit a big focking bump or pothole. The squeek is not something i hear too much bout w/GC kit though.. its your actual shocks squeekin has nuffing do to with the bumpstops

I wanted to get Ground COntrols too, and am still planning to. However, my car is a lease, so if i have to cut the bumpstops, will it present a problem when i put the stock springs back in?

No, just keep the part you cut off & put it back in with its other half when you reinstall everything.

Is there anyway to detect that the suspension was tampered with once i put the stock back?
