Graphite Oil Additive
Someone asked about this last week. I went to a Honda dealer this weekend to get parts for my muched talked about winter ride and noticed a display at the parts counter for Krex Graphite Engine Lubricant. I asked the parts guy "does Honda recommend this" He said "yes, we use it a major service intervals, 15K, 30K etc..."
I don't buy it.

The dealer just want to make some extra bucks. Most car maker recommend AGAINST using any oil additives. Besides, granphite is really outdated as an additive. It was superseded by Moly(molydenum disulfide) over 30 years ago!!!
