I had an issue like that when I took my car in to Ramsey Acura when I first bought it for the first oil change. They put some kind of additive in the oil and I questioned. I got no reasonable answer. I think it is an underhanded way of a dealer selling you additives trying to make money on service. I have no problem with a dealer making money but they should at least tell you up front what it was. I made them remove it from the bill because I did not request it. By the way..... I never went back. Switched over to Park Avenue Acura and never looked back. That can't be too far from you. Hell NJ is only 150 tip to tip.

There are threads on the graphite stuff. Dealers sell it, but Honda does not recommend it.

Tell them you didn't ask for it, and you want it taken out and a refund for what they charged you.

That would be the fuel injector cleaner they are using, the name of the product is Krex graphite fuel injector cleaner.

We recently stopped selling all additives as Acura seems to no longer show any support for any of them and also to keep service prices in line .
