if you put a phone number in your gps the place should show up on the map does it work for anyone out there

 

Unfortunately, no it does not. Especially no private residences.

Works for all or most POI (Places of Interest) such as the businesses/locations that show up in the Places menu. Mine and my girlfriends work are in there, UT and several other places I have wanted to go to but instead called en-route to check on reservations, etc.

It only works for places that are in the dvd database.
