Got thrown out of the dealer !!!!

Well I went back to the dealer where I bought my car from... Montclair Acura in Verona NJ. I wanted to fix my mud guards that was not properly placed and causing the paint to peel, the exhaut tip that was crooked, and both of my headlights that are condensing. Mind you I went right after work from a graveyard shift from ground zero so I was a bit tired and sleepy. They did not fix the exhaust and told me to get the Comptech which I already have and trying to sell. The mud gaurds they changed the one that was peeling the paint and still not placed properly. The headlights they said the condensing was b/c of a scratch on the headlight that put pressure on seal, which would of work if the other side is the same and has no scratch. At that point I was telling them" not to insult my intelligence " and he said that he was throwing me out. They took my car and parked it outside and told me to take it. I never cursed at him or raise my hands, so I went back in and asked him why??? did he through me out. He said and I quote "you were making faces and said I was insulting your intelligence". The guy who threw me was the "customer service manager" can you believe it. That Acura dealer is really good when you buy the car but do not get it serviced there. By the way I am working on getting a discrimination lawsuit on this dealer, because I think he threw me out cause I came from work and my jeans were a bit dirty. Sorry for long message but very angry:angry:

I know exactly where that dealer is. I passed by it once while I was visiting some relatives up that way. Man don't let anyone treat you like that. I guess you can't sue them for that bullshit since it's just their word vs yours, but shit. I dunno, pull a dajuice on them or something.

You know what sad....when I came into the dealer I was the second cust. in there and when I walked in, nobody greeted me. When this white guy walked in with a suit and driven a tl-s he had the door open for him, chair pulled out for him and was offered a cup of coffee or a bagel. You can make over 100 grand a year and just because your not white or in a suit you get treated like shit. I really don't care about any of that if that is the world we live in I'm not changing it, but throwing me out that is too far.

Call Acura customer service and let them know your experience. Make sure that the dealer get a "special" treatment from Acura. Spread the words. I hate stupid service advisors who think customers are idiots. F*ck them

Lou, if I'm not mistaken, I've met you at the ny meet by the palisades mall with casper and them. I was the one with the slammed black TL. Anyways, I bought my TL from them too. The sales guy was great but their service FUCKING sucks big ass hairy sweaty gorilla nuts! I took my TL to get it serviced there a few times and everytime some shit always happens. That's why I switched to PAA.

Call Acura as many times as possible. Just keep bugging them. Bug the guy who kicked u out too. It's not worth suing. It's very time consuming and it's not worth it in your case. what's with americans and lawsuits? Anything happens and they threaten to sue...

BTW, i don't know what it is that you do exactly but i'm sure it can't be the most enjoyable thing in the world. thanks for working on getting G-0 up and ready for rebuilding

Don't you guys have investigative reporters that look into this type stuff.... It's been awhile since I've been out there, but isn't it called '9 on your side' from channel nine news? You should also call the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and who ever else you can and make a BIG stink about this......

I hate when this shit happens, sometimes you've got to really stir things up to get your point across.....

Holy crap. Damn, I guess we can add Montclair Acura to the list of dealers to avoid.

PAA is just a couple of miles away from there. Seems like the extra drive is worth it.

Thanks guys for the support, I knew I can count on you. Wayne from PAA contacted the district rep so hopefully something can be done. The first thing I did was call cust. relations number from the back of our roadside assistance card. Basically they said that every dealer is independently own so there is not much they can do. except call the manager of the store. I called the store and spoke to the assistant manager who recognize me and said he was going to find out what happen and call me back which he never did. Guys don't get me wrong me first reaction was to hit the guy espicially when he started threatning me he was going to kick me out. Then one of the mechanics gets in my car and peels tires out of the garage and parks it in the middle of the parking lot with the key in it and ignition on. I wanted to kill that f...... guy but by that point I didn't want to get physical and get arrested. I'm not letting this go no way whatsoever.

Hel Lou, sorry about you experience! Alot of dealers and stores, but especially dealers are arrogant tlike that! They think they have the right to help who they want and they dont! Thery already made their sale on you and can make no more $$$ off you in service...

I am thankful that the dealer by me is great in all aspects, from purchasing, finance, service and parts... If you want to hike back and forth, my dealer, Acura of Westcvhester is on point! I have an on going relationship with them for 5 years and not only have i bought my car there, but so has my brother, uncle and cousins! We are very well known their and anyone affiliated with us (not to sounds conceited) will be taken good care of! Let me know what you want to do!

and btw... you handled yourself very well! you might want to complain to the BBB (better business bureau)...

Dirty Jean, clean jeans, nice suit... :whocares:

I don't even care if it was a KIA dealer, that kind of shit should never happen. I'd be calling Acura Customer Service every minute, calling the dealer and DEMANDING to speak with someone higher in the food chain... What a bunch of bullshit.

I hope I never have an experience like that. I'd really have to whoop some ass.

Everyone is right. call, call, call! Nobody deserve to be treated like that. What that dickhead did was wrong!
We only have one dealer here and they are really cool about everything! Everytime we go in for anything we get either a letter or a phone call from american Honda for a customer satisfaction survey, Don't you guys get that too???

I just got off the phone with the manager there at Montclair Acura and he was pretty much telling me that nobody threw me out it was just the end of the discussion. I told him they chirped the tires getting my car out of the garage and left it out with the ignition on and the keys in it and he said that is their valet service. Have you ever had valet service leave your car on while your inside the store?. So I told him are you telling me he (servcice manager) never said he threw me out....so I called cust. relation, the assistant manager, DCH who is their parent company, for nothing....I am making it up. Then he said let me have a conference with them and I'll call you back. Will see what he says now.

Oh oh, seems it's another case of "whodunit and who is responsible" i.e the run around.

BBB is the place to go now, as Acura seems to not be doing sh!t about it. That is inexcusable behavoir on ALL PARTIES!

Did you have any witnesses? Document your conversations with everyone.

Yes I do have witnesses but they all work for Acura b/c it happened inside the garage. I just spoke to Joe the manager of the store and he told me to come in for a conference with him and the service director to see if we can come up with a solution. I don't know if this is implying quilt or what have you? I have no problem with the manager b/c he did help me out on my trade so if he wants to talk we can talk. I just don't want this to be swept under the rug like everthing unjustly they do. Don't worry I won't sell out and be bought off like many witnesses that claim they didn't see a thing. I'm talking with the manager to make sure this discrimination doesn't happen to anyone else.

Nah race isnt an issue. Those guys in service are just piece of shit motherfuckers. I remember asking them to take a look at my rattling sunroof and I could've sworn that fat fuck rolled his eyes at me.

And When I told him my trunk was a little misaligned..cuz it was a problem for CL's a while back--they took a wrench to it, to try to BEND it back in place. They claimed I must've stuffed the trunk to packed to push it out of place. I was like..I odnt use my fucking trunk.

Although the lady that gave me a loaner car was very nice.

I don't think I look young for a 29 year old, but maybe they thought I was some spoiled kid that mom and dad bought the car for me. Or maybe they thought that by giving me a hard time....that would stop me from trying to get warranty work. I really don't know but I'm telling you when I was waiting for my car, I saw the service guy open the door for some white guy in a suit, pull his chair out so he can sit, and asked him if he wanted a bagel or a coffee. I was like dam look at this kiss ass motherfawker I sure wasn't treated that way when I came in.WTF. The guy was driving a TL-S not even the RL whats with the special treatment bootlicking motherf_ckers.

Whatever you do, don't start swearing. I always start swearing. That's no good. It sounds like a good idea at the time, though.

Ask em' why you would make up the story. Ask em if they didn't throw you out...why is your car not fixed...Make your time seem very valuable. You are doin them a favor.

Make us proud and get free things lol.

I think just my mentioning the fact that you came back from working at Ground Zero will be a plus. And dont forget... if the meet doesnt work out to YOUR expectations, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and the media should help ya out.

Threaten that you will tell you "friends" on all the online webboards never to go to their service dept. Even thoughyou already did and everyone knows not to go there. One of those dumbasses already flipped out once and posted on the TL board saying how PAA was in some conspiracy for trying to help members online.

- ...that's ^ what the fuck i'm talkin bout'

-i had a situation with the Honda a lil' over a year ago...where it was the middle of the hot ass Houston summer and my A/C jus' died all out the blue when i was rollin'

-i immediately drove that shit to the dealership...so i'm waiting in the lobby the man call me and started talking shit about my radio (Kenwood head unit, MTX amps, Sub, etc)...trying to say that it had something to do with the A/C dying blah blah blah I don't know who they think they was funking with

-i started to act a donkey >;] and all of them cats started lookin at me like i was crazy...i rented a car from the Enterprise at the dealership while they were repairing the car...that same evening when i got to the crib, i musta had 5 messages from they customer service managers (all by the way were women) saying they were sorry about any inconveniences etc etc and they would replace my shit pronto pay for the rental etc basically on the dick

-so bitchin and complaining helps, don't be a punk and accept what there telling you

Guys I need your help I just got off the phone with Montclair Acura and they admit to throwing me out. He asked me what I wanted from Acura or what do I want to gain from this. I couldn't think of anything because I didn't get thrown out for a profit. At this point I don't want this guy to lose his job or anything. I'm thinking maybe an extended warranty of some sort. There is really nothing that they can do for me. Help me quickly.
