Got a reply from carpoint.com about their review.

I'd rather not get a reply than this canned response bullshit.

To whom it may concern,
I just finished reading the reviews of the new CL and I am very disapointed
at the lack of accurate information. The 0-60 times as well as the top
speeds were horribly mis-calculated. Upon further reading the other staff
member that conducted a review had completeley different times. I know there
are many variables that may lead to different times, but a two second
difference is unexecusable. The bio on Daniel states how great and respected
in the industry he is. It is ashamed that he could be this irresponsible
doing something he is supposed to be an expert in.
Sickened,
Justin Holmes

That is bullshit! Opinions are one thing, but posting inaccurate information is misleading to the consumer. Editorials are fine and all, but that review gave specific stats, which doesnt sound like an editorial to me. If I only went to carpoints site when I was shopping for my car, I would have never goten the CL-S!

I bet Acura would not be happy to know that potential customers are buying IS300's caus MSn sais the CL-S is slower than shit.

It's just hilarious that you guys are fighting a form letter generated from a computer. And fighting pretty hard, too.

They don't care, can't you see?

So everytime a consumer has a complaint, he should not try to get some resolve because he will receive a form letter? I can't tell you how many times I have had a complaint as a consumer and at first got this type of response. BTW Where have you seen us fighting this letter? All I did was post my response in which I stated that I would rather not get a response than this OBVIOUSLY PRE-GENERATED answer.

I wonder if they'll do more if we forward the complaint about CarPoint.com to Acura Customer Service. You know, the erroneous information on the CL-S might actually affect sales since nowadays lots of people do research on the net before buying a car.

When $$$ is at stakes, things uaually get done more quickly...
