Got rear ended, what Exhaust?

OK, so I barely post and usually am just a ghost on the board but just recently I was rearended. The Caddy that hit me was destroyed in the front but my car only sustained about 6 grand in damage. Not bad if you ask me.

To get to the point, my right side of the exhaust is messed up. Muffler and the down pipe. Total about $500. So I have a slight delema. Which exhaust to get?

I know someone in the Bus so no matter which way I go (catback or new downpipe and axle back), it will cost me the same amount. I am really torn between the Greddy or the HKS. I have viewed a lot of debate between the two but they are usually about replacing the exhisting exhaust. If you had a chance were it would only cost $200 to upgrade the exhaust no matte which system you picked. What would you do?

Like I said, I know someone in the Business. If you are in retail, you would see that a manufactor usually will sell an item to a seller for about 30-45% off of retail. This gives the the seller a lot of play to deal with a consumer.

I have also reworded my first post to make a little more sense.

A vote for Comptech. They look good and sound great, especially with the intake

I was debating the Comptechs also but I am still waiting to hear what the price on those are going to be. I am really leaning towards the Greddy as they do not look that bad on our cars.

I have also decided to do sways since my car is going to be on the lift. Waiting for prices on those also, along with which ones to go with.

Looks like the modding bug has just hit.

go with greddy evos

now because it was the right side of the car then it is very possible that you could get headers too. jack up your car and check the downpipe on the exhaust manifold. if it looks a little messed up then report that to the insurance company and get yourself some headers...

Already did that Side and the headers looked fine. I was really hoping I could get those out of the deal also.

Headers and first downpipe look good. The second half of the downpipe (the Y pipe) is what is bent. I wish the left muffler would have been damaged as then the exhaust system would be totally free.
