OMG I got raped.

yesturday driving back from MD i see a set of HIDS's speeding towards me. I look closly and it looked almost like a beetle w/ hids. but once it got next to me I immediatly noticed it was a FOOKEN PORCHSE. It had to be atleast a 01 or 02. Well it was sporting white rims and a dark ass tint. I immediatly throw it in SS and get right on his ass. I then see the words. 'turbo' . and his plates saying 'TRY N C'. of course i knew i was gonna get smoked but i played w/ him anyways. he suprisingly took the same exit as I did. *braddock road* for those who live in the area. This road is a 4 lane 45mph staright away for the next 3 miles. We line up at the light out of the exit and he revvs. The light turns green and we both launched. That fucker jack rabbitted about 3 cars ahead of me while I was shocked and stunned. I totallly got raped. This was farr worse than my lost to a WS6.

Dem porsches are nice... but Ive been handed my defeat on road courses. Ill be going 115 through esses and the Porsche (modified heavily I might add) passes me and after a while.. I dont even seehim anymore until he comes around to lap me...

Good driver and a great car.. now that is a deadly combination... although... I had my fun chasing Vipers and lapping some at Viper Days down at VIR

i got raped as well by a new model 911 turbo... i wanted to see how much will i lose by so i gave it a try... floored it on green... the fooker jump 2 cars and just kept going... when it was over i was like 3 cars behind... i know this guy didn't even try... maybe just half throttle and he whoop my bad.. i was gonna give him thumbs up but he was acting all cool and didn't look over.....

 

I rememeber a few years ago we were all coming home from the shore. There was a bunch of us, all hot-cars driving down rte 37 Toms River NJ. Well there was this silver 911 Turbo and we all raced him, he fucked up everyone of us BAD. My one bud had a SS, the other a Supra TT, RX7 TT, Some stangs, a vette, and even a GN. Like I said we all had hot-cars. We were traveling in a wolfpack...lol. Anyways at the light we see an unfamiliar car...It was my friend's cousin who lives there and just happened to take his car out for a run after a quik tune

His car: 1993 Black on Black Notchback 5.0. He has a fully built motor and runs 10s@12X MPH.

Well we all watched at the stoplight and the porsche takes of, about .5 seconds later the 5.0 hooks and books and starts reeling the 911 in by lengths then eventually shut down at about 120MPH or so.... way ahed of the 911. Very fast for that rd. We all pull up to the Dunkin Donuts, so does the 911. We all start BS-ing with the 911 owner who as actually really cool. He lived in NYC and grew up racing all types of german cars. Anyways, shortly after my friend's cousin pulls in with his black notch which just looked plain bad-ass. You could tell it had a really hot cam in it, it had a lopey idle. Well he pulls up next to the 911 driver and rolls down his tinted windows. The moment the window hit 3/4 of the way down you instantly saw a roll cage and an assortment of gauges and a huge grin on the driver's face. His car didn't have any power adders and was a stroked naturally aspirated 347 motor. He said it was producing over 450 HP. We all continued to talk and the 5.0 driver challenged him again(friendly) and the 911 declined after saying "I thought he was all stock" shaking his head. I'm telling you, this stang was almost 100% stock looking....except tint, drag radials, and wheels...That was such an awesome night...ahh memories...

 

Hey Nova whats up? U shouldnt miss with a Twin Turbo Porsche. Start with C4 then C2's after that go after the Twin. Its a very nice feeling now to smoke 996 C2's and C4's, M3's, M5's, and alot of cars with my Z with only $400 in mods. I spent around 5K on my Cl-S and it was no where near the stock performance of my Cobra let alone the Z.

 

That's the story here. The CLS is a fine platform, but definitely not an extreme performance car. Anyone here who bought their car to be the fastest on the street, to 'smoke' everyone is just plain stupid.

My cls is my highway, domesticated cruiser. Sure it's got nice 2 lane passing power, and can handle pretty well...but i'm not expecting to beat or even run with all the sports cars on the road...that's where some of the guys here are gone wrong. Sure with an infinitely deep pocket you can beat anything on the road, but so can some guy with a mini van and an equally deep pocket. I don't see any logic in it.

My SS is the fun, sports car, the one that should run with everything on the road, and i expect it. But i don't expect it to be quiet, smooth and without any rattles inside; just like i don't expect to get sideways into 2nd, slide around turns, or put lengths on the fast and furious crowd in the CLS.
