We don't have spark plug wires. It's coil on plug.

So how do I improve the spark (other than plugs) I already ordered some NGKs.

You don't. Only thing you can do is replace the coils. However I haven't see any replacements that are better then stock.

a ground wire kit will increase your spark.

any EEs out there that see a mistake in my logic, feel free to jump in.

a ground wire kit creates a less resistive path to ground (ie, R is less with ground wire kit). with the same current draw (I), your voltage drop across the ground wires is V=I*R. with a smaller R due to the ground wire kit, your voltage drop decreases as well (V and R are directly related if I stays constant).

compare this to the ideal ground connection where R=0ohms which means no matter the current draw, the voltage drop is 0V.

let's play with some numbers:

assume the original ground wires give an Rold = 0.1ohm.
our current draw will stay at 10A.

so the old voltage drop Vold = 10A * 0.1ohm = 1V. This means your ground is actually at 1V instead of 0V (aka ground bounce). Therefore, the spark plug's terminals are + at 12V and - at 1V. For an actual difference of 11V.

now say our new ground wire kit gives an Rnew = 0.01ohms.
the new voltage drop Vnew = 10A * 0.01ohm = 0.1V. Your spark plug's spark is now 12V - 0.1V = 11.9V, a bigger spark!

a ground wire kit helps everything electrical in your car by keeping 0 close to 0. i may install a kit myself.

great way to explain yourself

I've been big stereo man all my life and Ive never used one before. 1) Is it true that they only come in blue and red? 2) Everyone Ive seen in a car was next to the engine, Can it be mounted where no one can see it?

our stock coil packs are fine if working 100%, just upgrade your plugs.

ground kit will help VERY slightly. you will see a better improvement by simply replacing the main ground line from your battery than installing a ground kit.
