Got owned by a XJR.....
Well, not much to say. At the light, I revved my engine (keep in mind my badly slipping clutch), light turns green, he takes off and I couldn't even catch up or even 'stay' with him in any of my gears. Those freaking things are fast! He left some good rubber at the light. Don't know what year it was, just know it was silver with dark tints, they all look the same to me!

Those things are damn fast. I think they have like 370 hp. My friends dad has one and the one and only time he let us drive it, we were doing 130 like it was nothing! Man the sound from that engine is so sweet, it pulls so hard off the line and at highway speeds, such a nice car!

No more scratches thanks to the dumbass who walked on my car and had to pay to have it repainted.

I know that even with a clutch he'd kill me. Just thought I would put in the 'slipping clutch' thing so that my car doesn't seem extremely slow

My dad had a 98 XJR. The thing flew. It was automatic so you just stepped on it and went and boy I Gteched it in the low 5's all the time. Weren't many cars on the road that could beat me in that. Too bad I only drove it when he wasn't anywhere around the house.

My boss has a 86 jag that he put a corvette engine with a vortex supercharger in it. It is fun to pull up to some idiot in a mustang gt and laugh as we pass him. ![](http://www.acura-cl.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)

Sins,
What's your deal? If your fucking clutch is slipping, then GET IT FIXED!
I don't want to read any more racing stories of yours until you fix that damn clutch.
You're making the M3 look bad, dicky....

Hey Tom2,
I don't know if you are just joking around with Sins but if you are being serious it wouldn't matter a shit if your M3 was running perfect. You are not beating the XJR. If your kidding around my fault I am just defending the Jag.

I'll let you in on a little secret: The XJR is not unbeatable. There are quite a few M3's running around with NO mods that are capable of hitting 13's in the quarter mile. A couple of little mods, and you're looking at mid 13's.
To say that an M3 cannot beat an XJR is just ignorant.
BTW, in my post to Sins, I never said ANYTHING about beating the Jaguar. I simply said that if he's gonna street race, he should FIX HIS FUCKING CLUTCH FIRST, because he has a habit of racing, losing, then bragging about it here. I think that Sins thinks that it makes him seem like a hero here or something. I dunno.
Racing with a slipping clutch is almost as stupid as racing with a car full of friends.

And if you read my post I pre apoligized for the fact if that is just what you meant, so don't get all tough guy with me. All i'm saying is the XJR is a fast fucking car and you find one stock M3 of your model that can beat it and I would love to see that. But I do agree he shouldn't be racing with a slipping clutch cause that would be like me losing to a Civic because I had 500 pounds of luggage in my trunk. And then posting it as a lost. Anthony
