Got my V1!! Question on settings......

Got my V1 on Friday, installed in on Saturday. So far I love it even though I've only done one way of my commute so far. One thing I noticed is that this thing is incredibly sensitive. Picks up on every little thing. Currently I'm running on the "All Bogies" mode and I'm thinking of running it on either the logic or advanced logic modes. My commute is about 80% highway, so I'm leaning towards the logic mode, but I figured I'd ask what you guys are using since a lot of people on here have them and have had them for a while. Help is appreciated!!

Don't you love it!? heheh I haven't regreted my decision. Since i've gotten it i've run on all bogey mode. Since 80% of my driving is on the highway i want to know everything. If i were constantly driving through local traffic i might switch to Advanced logic mode. It is sensitive but after a while you know where you are getting a false reading and when there is something new. I go the same way every day so I know when somebody is trying to hide I love the bogey counter and can't beat that direction indicator!

I go the same way every day too, but there were times when I was picking up anywhere from 2-4 "bogeys", and most of it was X-band. I'm assuming it was picking them up from the office buildings that line the Valhalla section of the Taconic / Sprain. There was actually a time when there was a cop in front of me, and it picked up the Ka band as the strongest signal, but there were 2 other signals, both X-band. Maybe I'll try it with the Logic mode on the way home like Soopa said, then compare the two. Thanks for the replies!

I leave it in full Logic mode. It has really cleaned up the false alerts.

I use:

"Big L" for local
"little L" for highway
"A" mode for rural roads, cause I know cows don't have quotas!
