Havent even had the cl for 2 weeks and i got my first ticket already, but i have been driving for like a year and a half w/o being pulled over.

Heres a summed up version of the story:

At my cousins wedding and we are leaving and my parents are telling me and my brothers to go home now and they are gonna leave in 30 min. I get pulled over doin 93 in a 65 on 696 west and the first thing that comes to my mind is that i have to deal w/ this quick so my parents wont see me on their way back home. But i guess they left early and they saw me on the side of the highway. My dad was when i got home, i thought he was gonna take the cl away but he says i cant go out for a month and gotta pay the ticket.

But anyways i was hit my laser doin 93 from a cop on a over pass then he alerted a cop hiding on the entrance to pull me over.

Since this was my first ticket the cop says i just gotta pay $115 and i'll get no points. I asked him to gimmie a warning but he says if your goin over 90 he has to give me a ticket. He wrote the ticket has a 90 in a 65 cause i told him iwasnt doing 93, i think if i didnt lie to him he would of wrote it as a 80 or 85.

But any ways i hope i learned my lesson, but my friends are telling me that the cop was bs'n me bout no points and that i'll get like 4 points when i go to court

 

yeah i don't see how u SHOULDN'T get points for this...4 points??? dunno bout that...i was clocked 32 over, and i'm looking at 8 points!!! yer clocked at 25 - 28 over, but maybe MI law is different

get V1 ASAP before detectors change their scanning for the worse!!!

everyone speeds on 696 between telergraph and 275.
good luck. if the judge or majestrate gives u points ask to be put under advisement. if that doent work appeal the decision, try ur hardest to keep ur clean record. most cities let u go if u have a clean record, but once u get ur first ticket they have little leaneincy.
90 in a 65 is tough ur probably gonna get points.

there's something going around saying Congress or some gov't body mandated that radar detector companies make a weaker detector starting in about 2 months to give cops more of a chance to nail people

i feel you, i got 5 tickets so far....no points...just got my license like 2 months ago, cause i had a 6 month suspension !!!

I don't like cops, they don't make me feel safe at all...I don't know why they hate me so much...

 

The cop told me since its my first time gettin pulled over he wont give me no points.

Get a V1 ASAP if you doing a lots of driving on I-696. Trust me is worth it.

Anyone can get a speeding ticket buddy. Scooter got one and i'm pretty sure he aint a kid, i think he was goin 32 over.
