Got my car detailed today
I finally got my car detailed today, this is the first time it has ever been waxed in the 4 years I have owned it, so it came out pretty good i think, especially on all of the swirlies. Here are some pics

I payed $115. The guy is my friends cousin, he said they usually charge around $150 so he gave me a break. They did a full detail job inside and out (i am not sure what that entails). I wanted to ask him what kind of wax he uses, but forgot cuz i was in a rush when i got there. They did spend about 4-5 hours on it. When i dropped it off the guy was funny, was saying "oh man you are killing me" cuz it was full of marks. They hate black cars.
I am very happy with the CT pipes, when are you getting yours?

Sidemarker I have a Fuji finepix A210. its a 3.2 megapixel. Nothing too fancy, but does work good. I got it free from dell a few months ago when i bought a pc, they offered a 2mp camera free, so i upgraded to the 3.2 for a few bucks more.

So after 4 years of just washing, im sure you had plenty and plenty of swirls, did the guy get most of the swirls out...I wash and wax plenty, but I do have a lot of hard waterspots and swirls I cant get out on my own.

I drove by the shop while your car was being worked on. They seem to know what they were doing. The true test is going to come ofter a week.
I have seen some detail places use a silicone wipe on "ploish" after the finish waxing it. It covers up all the swirls and makes it look wet. Kinda like when you get tire shine on the body and you wipe it off. It is a quick cheat.
But this place looked pretty good.

I don't think they would though, those guys seem like clean and car freaks, just the things he was saying about my car and his own. But the crappy weather is here again so it will go back to being a filthy CL.

The car looks HOT. Where did you have it done?
Did either of you local guys ever see my car cruising around. There’s hardly any CL’s in the Lehigh Valley.
