Got my '03 CL-S 6 Speed with Navi

Just wanted to share a few photos of my new ride.

'03 Acura CL Type S - 6 Speed with Navi

According to the saleman, mine was built on the last run of the production line...finished June 14th at the factory!

I just LOVE the car!

Mine is the one with the spoiler. The other one belongs to devnull (identical car without spoiler)

Yeah, I drove it around a while tonight...didn't want to get out!

Now, I am looking FORWARD to going to work tomorrow, just so I can drive the car!

Yup...I went into the dealer on 5/15 and the salesman had none on the lot (other than a beat demo)....he looked it up and said there was one scheduled to be done in the factory on June 14th with an expected delivery of June 26th.....I put the deposit down on 5/15 and waited.....it came in a few days early, but it was still a VERY LONG 5 1/2 weeks!

Just gave me a good price...a friend of mine (devnull here on the board) purchased his there as well as gave several referals.....just walked in, the salesman gave me the price, and I put a deposit down....in and out in 15 minutes (the price was below what I was planning on spending)

'03 Acura CL-S - 6 Sp. Navi
Body Type: Coupe Color: Black

Total Price of Vehicle: $29,999.00
Total Taxable Amount: $29,999.00
State Sales Tax: $ 1799.00
Registration/Title Fee: $ 44.50
Documentary Fee: $ 78.00

TOTAL: $31,920.50 out the door

Now I ended up adding the Factory Spoiler after the fact....that was $595 plus tax = $630.70

So real total out the door was $32,551.20

Got the 2.9% financing too!

Congrats, man. What you are really gonna be wowed about is the navi!

I am probably the only CLS6 owner to have owned (actually, paying for, again) two CLS6speeders since 11/30/02.

Check out my six day old on page 1, dfreder370s new 03 CLS. If you like the custom powder coated wheels, you can get that look for $500 for all four, but not through me, even though I am a powder coater.

My wheels were originally on a satin silver car, and they looked ok, but now on anthricite, I think they look terrific. But I am REALLY CURIOUS to see how they would look on black. As I deal with paint/color/gloss probably more than anyone on this board, I have a prediction of how these wheels would look on black:

F****** AWESOME! Congratulations, again. You have quite a car. If I was independently wealthy, I would buy TWO of these things, and store the other for when I thought the first was "too beat up". But, being a paint guy, one stone chip or door bang drives me up the wall, so it might not be that long before I yearn for "new" again.

A ray of hope here. Although I was very careful, the satin silver V 1.0 survived 7 months in Chicago without as much as a stone chip or ONE door bang. I wish all acura owners the same good, blessed luck! I hope the anthricite V 2.0 experiences the same!

Zig: I don't agree with your opinion...but I definitely appreciate what I have. ANY new generation CLS, in my opinion, auto or 6 speeder, navi or non, is a pretty nice ride.
