Wow your are coming along nicely that mod bugs gets everybody. I like the lip spoiler , I'm still debating if I should go with the OEM spoiler, clean look or the lip. You should debadge the car.

Hey welcome and congrats. My car looks almost identical but I do not have the S type. Mine is an 03.

Don't believe the hype. Mine doesn't get the gas mileage listed. I get about 22 mpg on average.

Thanks!

Wow. There was freaking gum on the fender looks like a gnarly key scratch in the picture.

I get 25 mixed (when I stay out of vtec) and 17 when I don't & 29 highway at an average of 80.

Much better than the 9/12 I get on my Landcruiser which has been parked since gas went over 3.70.

Nice work, doin' a lot more than I did in a short amount of time. Took me three years to be almost fully satisfied with my car.

I hope you fill in those horrible holes in the front bumper sometime though ..

I hope to get that done soon. The car spent it's first year in Rhode Island. Apparently they have front plates (Az. doesn't)

I plan to get the bumper sprayed, it has about 10,000,000 micro chips that look much worse that the plate holes, hopefully the shop can find a lasting way to fill in the holes then.

I have headers, springs & shocks and am waiting for P2R for their intake (but not much longer) or I'll get a Comptech.

I also want to install my Kenwood DVD/NAV which I already have the double din kit for but am waiting for the bracket I'll need to put my factory NAV down in the radio location in the DD so I can put the Kenwood in the upper stock NAV location..

The car sounds pretty much the same. There is more power throughout the rev range but alot more at the high end. It really feels fast now.

The spoiler is from ebay. It is ok.

Thanks

The header was about 245, nuts & gaskets were 60 or so and I used a friend's shop for an 18 pack of beer and did it myself in about 2:30.

I'll prolly get it for this question, since your new to this than me. But I see everyone putting new PIAA bulbs in were the fogs are. What are PIAA's and how do you put brighter lights into the socket where those weak little ones were before?

They are 18 watt bulbs same type as stock. I am not thrilled that they are blue off but love that they are semi usably bright.

So you just put a higher watt bulb in where the old 5 watt used to be?

Very nice car. I just bought it's twin this past Sunday with 101K on it. The guy wanted 8900 for it, I gave him $7000 and ran for the hills!

I will probably go get the PIAA lights for my road lights, too. The stock yellow ones just don't look right with the HID's.

The only problem with mine is that the pass. headlight is pretty fogged and wet inside. I have the hi-bean bulb out and a heat lamp on it in the garage right now. Hoping that will clear it out (seems to be working) then I'll go get those gel-pack things everyone is talking about. Now if I can only figure out what they actually are......

Thanks, it revs faster and pulls stronger.

It's hard to quantify individual mods but the car is much faster, has more usable power throughout the rev range and feels stronger with the P2R spacer, thermal gaskets & intake and DC sport headers and (possibly) UNICHIP.
I say possibly as I am not sure the UNICHIP is working.

I need to get my suspension in and a cat back and I'll be done.

The Sirius radio needs to be moved to the right side of the center console & hard wired still.

Thanks.

Yes it is a Kenwood DVD NAV, stereo which is now running the system, the stock screen is still a NAV but will only be used for the HVAC.
