A buddy of mine down here has a 2000 Porsche 911 (non-turbo) AUTOMATIC. He swears this car is faster than my vette (I almost fell on the floor laughing.) The 911 is stock- what will it do 60 and the 1/4 in? (remember AUTOMATIC). I haven't seen any of the magazines review the womens porsche. Thanks.

I found info on a 1998 Carerra Tiptronic S. Is this what he has? It does 0-60 in 5.6 and 1/4 in 14.0 @ 103mph. So yes your vette will beat it pretty good by these stats.

Thanks for the info. His car is a 2 not a 4. With a 14 sec 1/4 mile time I can leave my traction control on and still beat him!
