Got invited to test drive "a special, new Acura vehicle"!
It's like a "drive it and tell us what you think" kind of deal. It's gonna be a new Acura, but they didn't tell me what it is.
Oh, it's gonna be a new car with MANUAL transmission. Wonder what car it will be... hmmm.... ;D
It's gonna happen sometime this month. I'll keep you guys posted!

I don't have a clue. Just got a mail from Acura. And I think it helps when Honda has a research facility here in So Cal --- Torrance to be exact.

Have you gotten a letter or recieved a phone call? After sending in the letter you MIGHT get called back for accpetence and they will give you details on when to be there etc. Its strange you got a letter cause its pretty far from Anaheim Hills to Torrence. People who got called on the TL board all lived in the Torrence area.

Maybe they'll do to the mower biz as they did with cars and it'll be an upscale 6sp riding mower with HID, VTEC and traction control.

if it is like that.. then it most likely are prototypes....
They had a similar thing with Pontiac a while back... they had prototypes of the next gen. Grand Prix ... and gauged owner interest concerns/complaints.... it was through a 3rd party... you had to fill out surveys, forms... non-disclosure agreements, etc...
Regardless.. it WILL be fun.

if you have to fill out non disclosure come here as an alais and drop hints like i heard some people went to torrance and drove X i heard it was cool ...i heard it had the specific items(AWD>>>3.5 ...6speed)oh shit when is this again???

If it is the 6 speed please just make sure that you tell them to keep the clutch nice and tight and not like the crap on the RSX that has to be let out until your knee is in your mouth for it to catch!!
