this is 1 of those times im GLAD i have a front plate, b/c if i didn't, i'd b livid right now

ok, last night at around 11PM, im on Rt. 347 at Smithhaven mall...these 2 bitches right in front of me (1 from Russia, the other from Joisey) were driving an old POS Saab 900 Turbo convertible...POOR driving is being too generous...she slowed down, sped up, rode in both lanes, etc...now it appeared she was changing lanes (from left lane to right lane), so i crept up to pass...she then cuts me off and pulls up to a light where there was an incline backwards...i didn't do anything like beep the horn or flash her...i was pissed, but that was it...next thing i know, she puts her clutch in, gets off the brake, and rolls about 15 feet into my license plate...for about 2 seconds i was laying on my horn, but she didn't do sh!t and just let the hill take her into me...then she decides to speed off...so first thing's fukin last...i tell my girl (who was in the car with me) to get the plate number, and once written down, get on my cell and call the cops to report a hit and run while i followed them...so about a mile down the road, we stop at a light, and i get out to confront them...i say "so u don't stop when u hit someone??" the driver chick, who's 31 mind u, says "sorry, i didn't know i was going backwards"...

so i'm like "too late, i already called the cops" and go back to my car...so we start going again, traveling on Rt. 347...about 3 miles later, she realizes im following her, so she slows down and appears to b pulling into a gas station, but at the last minute, she tries to floor it, but SS kept me right on her tail...a couple more miles, and we pull into a 7-11 right on Rt. 347...i get on my cell at this point and tell the cops exactly where we r and describe what happened...my friends promptly arrived to hang out (i was supposed to meet up with them).

the 2 bitches get out of the car and proceed to yell at me, especially the 31 year old bitch...i just sit there and not say a word...between the both of them, i heard such lunatic statements like "i'm being a good American citizen by stopping, and now u're wasting all of our time", "im 31, and i can't really drive stick", "u're an a@@hole, and u're gf is a c**t", "i'm not from this country, and i don't really like this country right now", "can't we break the rules just this once??", "i hope u're getting a real good laugh out of this", and my favorite..."i'm going to kill u"...o, and i forgot the "too bad u don't have a hammer so u can make the damage worse"

and u know what i said??? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...how i could do that is beyond me...all my friends who were there (2 are lawyers, and 1 is a bouncer) were shocked i could stay so cool

so anyway, the whole process took about 2 hours b/c it took the cops forever to show, the cop took our stuff and had an emergency to run off to, so we were left with no licenses, registration, and insurance for another 45 minutes...the bitches missed the last ferry to Shelter Island (boo fukin who), so they had to shag up in a hotel

as far as the stories went, i told the cop the whole deal, and he was cool about it, told me i did the right thing, also told me it was good i was calm and rational bout everything vs. those 2, so whatever

as far as damage goes, there's a small dent to the license plate, and that's it...i already took off the bracket, and the bumper's fine

so y did i make a mountain out of a molehill??? well for starters, i honestly believe she backed into me intentionally b/c she was pissed that i was so close to her, and this was her way of saying not to fuk with her...i mean, how much of an idiot do u think i am when u're gonna say "i didn't know i was going backwards??" her story changed a half a million times, not to mention her mouth going a mile a minute for the 2 hours we were in the 7-11 waiting to get paperwork done...insult after insult after insult just made me more patient...but i kept my cool, including my girl (whose Hungarian and Ecuadorian, and her temper is just as bad as any other Latina), who i give a lot of credit for not belting the slut after the c**t comment...

another reason for my stubbornness was b/c she didn't stop to survey any damage, she kept on going as if everything was fine...then she tries to outmaneuver me, thinking i got nothing on her turbo...then I'M the bad guy b/c i was following the fukin rules...too bad the cop didn't do something dramatic like put the 2 of them in the cop car her explanations were pitiful...her excuses were ridiculous...and her countless attacks just deepened my resolve...i wouldn't b surprised if she sues me for mental anguish

so that was my fun-filled night of drinking at the pubs last night

Scooter...I dunno bout where you live...but here, it's your fault for following too closely if someone rolls back into you at an intersection in a standard car...

 

15 feet is more than enough space. Even for a novice stick driver. You handled the situation well, Scooter.

I wouldn't have wasted my time chasing her, I would have written her plate, called the cops and said she was a hit/run. I've done this before. Some old geezer hit my car, dents the door (not my cl, an LTD I had many moons ago). so, I write the plate, call the cops and turns out the guy was drunk so he got a felony driving w/o license; dwi, and hit/run causing damage >1000. Ya shlda done the same, maybe even smack your car w/ a hammer in the garage for extra effect!!

2. If you cant drive stick then dont!
3. You could have broken the rules with anyones else, just NOT me!
4. 31 is not too late, and you are never to old for DRIVING SCHOOL!
