i can vouch for the sentra- my best friend has a 91 four door sentra. he did the sr20det swap, and that shit is fast. total sleeper. i think the last time he went to the track he ran a 13.2, which isnt bad. its funny when we pull up next to people, they dont think anything of it, they think they're gonna beat him easily, he has the stock se-r rims and only an exhaust that you can see, the intercooler is pretty hidden up front. all of a sudden they hear that blow off valve and its great, its a fun car.

There's something to be said about a motor (SR20DE) that can be moderately boosted without any internal engine work.

my friends shop who specializes in SR20det's held the record for most HP on stock block @ 526RWHP with 40 dyno runs. they were beat out by another shop that did 539RWHP. here's mah friends dyno sheet.

Nice death, losing to an anything with that motor is OK.

Good thing I never have, eh Greg? LOL The air is getting colder buddy, I'm gonna call you out again!!!!

In all seriousness, those pictures of Gregs car do not do it justice. It is so pristine and such a well done swap that it looks totally factory. Now if he would just dump his wanna be rice boy exhaust.

Sweet. I love the 240sx but stock it was pretty weak. Nice looking, especially with the wheels and kit.

greg thats a beutiful car.. we're thinking about getting a front bumper for the sentra but only because the FMIC wont fit!! we wanted to keep it a total sleeper but the intercooler gets way too hot under the hood.. at full boost we're supposed to be pushing about 250hp .. im thinking if we get some real cold air w/ the front mount we can get those #'s.. gotta get it to a dyno soon.. i love the rims btw

I was gonna ask ya about that. From the pict, it looks like no hood vent for the IC? You must be getting massive heat soak. You could always put on a big ole scoop like on an STi. It'll look ricey, but would probably help a great deal. Probably increase the number of willing victims too.

Dave: we're on a REALLY tight budget so we actually did something worse than the scoop... i'll get some pics but pretty much we cut out a whole in the hood exactly the size of the IC.. we made a grill for it, put a rubber trim around it and painted it the color of the car.. i kno its ricey as f*k but its running better than before.. a lot better, you can feel the diffrence when you touch the IC. o well you gotta do what you gotta do..

I love it, but I still think you should direct some air down there. To me, its only Ricey if its not functional, and that would definately be functional. Anyway, nice car.
