guess where i got pull over??

At my own parking lot!!!!!!!!
this cop just appeared right behind me from nowhere like a ghost. I knew he was goin for my window as soon as i saw him. (coz i was at my own parking lot already, so it can't be speeding) The ticket is 95 CDN, and i have to take the tint off b4 June 1,and go to the pig station to show them that my wintow is legal again. Damn..that is the 3rd major tickets i got since last August..(two speeding tickets, one window ,and countness parkingn tickets)...i hate tickets...

What a coincidence. I was pulled over for my tints today too. I had them close to a year now and then this shit happens. I was just driving normal and the cop saw my car and decided to pull me over. But luckily he did not give me a ticket. Just told me to take it off.
Then a week ago, I got pulled over for my blue lights. What a freaking bad week for my TL. Luckily the cops gave me a warning first. But the funny thing was that I have driven past these cops for months with my blue lights and tints and nothing happens. Then BAM, in a span of a week I got pulled over twice. Guess they ran out of donuts or something.

Yeah I think you are right on the percentage of light passing through. Over here in california, you are allowed 70% on the front two windows, which basically means nothing because most of our windows come with a slight green tint...which most likely equals 70%. Any other tint is illegal; however, you can have limo tint on the back windows or however dark you would like and they cannot do anything about it. I personally went with a 32% front...I am kinda regretting it now since I keep thinking cops are going to pull me over..

When I lived there I had my windows tinted on my Lexus GS300. I had medium tint (don't know the percentage) on the rear and back windows and the lightest on the front windows. I had the tint shop match the upper part of the windshield with the same color. I never got pulled over but I used to open the sunroof whenever I saw a cop and it seemed to let in enough light to fool them. When I moved to NJ 5 years ago, the state inspection here made me remove it from the front windows. Can you say amonia?

only had the car 2 weeks at the time. this was at night, the car was front end into the driveway, and before my V1...

how about if you say the car is for show??? i know you drive it everyday and if the cop sees you again with the tint on he'll get real pissed but try it anyways....35% is nothing.....i had 5% on the CL-s and 5% on the colt too....no tickets so far for the tint. i guess cuz it gets hot as balls down here. good luck dude!

Exactly....pay the $10 and get on with your life...that's why you tint the front a lot lighter than the rear, so cops can be fooled into thinking it's the factory tint...cops are such goobers!!!

How about borrowing someone else's untinted CL/CL-S (or even a TL - As if the know the diff...) and driving by to show them....even grab one from your dealer for a quick "test-drive"

sounds like a streak of bad luck to me. i have limo tint which means that there is only 2.5% light comming through. never gotten pulled over. i'm trying to get the two side windows tinted up to 35%. this cop did pull me over in my moms car and accuse me of smoking and drinking. it was only 10:30 man i don't know what his beef was. he said that i was, "swerving" in my lane. luckily i was in my moms car or i'da been fucked.

Can't do the time, don't do the crime, and please don't whine. Simply put, what makes you so special you can ignore the law. Don't blame the police. They don't make the law, just enforce it.

I would love to tint my CL-S, but if I can't do the front windows too, then I think it looks stupid. Unfortunately its illegal to in my state. So I issue for tinted windows because I figure if I have to follow the law so does everyone else. Sorry, just my point of view.

It must suck to not be able to have only 35%. That's not that dark. It must really suck to live in Cali. Is the state just completely stupid or what. Don't they know that it helps keep your car cooler and slows down cracking of the leather seats. Especially with all the sun you guys get out there. Here in Denver you can have 35% on front 2 windows, 20% on backs.
