Got the car back in my garage

Well I spent many hours this weekend digging & hauling stone, but now the garage is ready for cement Friday and I can keep the car inside for the week.
Digging through stone that has been compacted for TWO YEARS with a shovel is NOT fun. :shakehd::shakehd::shakehd:
I loaded FIFTEEN wheelbarrow loads out of there to get the levels & slope for the drains correct.
They’re only pouring the one side Friday and the other where I park next Monday.

Floor drains are installed

Floor drains all covered up and the floor is “tamped” down

I built two “ghetto” ramps to get the car over the hole for the footer

All washed up and shiny again

Damn... Looks like a lot of work a quite a mess. Worth it in the long run though.

That Zaino is really amazing. Did you just wash and dry or did you also re-Z2? You said that you had tree debris on your car.

Your garage will be nice when it is done. I envy it already.

No, that’s just a wash & blow dry. No time for a Z-2 job.
Maybe I’ll give it a wipe-down with Z-6 some night this week, but I just didn’t have the energy in me today.

I could tell when I was drying it with the blower that the water wasn’t dancing off as fast as normal so it needs some more attention.

Another for Zaino. To keep that bling after the recent thunderstorms without another polish job is AWESOME!

Yes, since I had the garage built in January of 2000.
It is built into a sloped area of the lot and they told me to wait to allow the stones to properly settle because there is over 4FT of fill on the one side.

Yea, that would be an interesting idea, but I’m pretty sure I read they’re illegal in my area.
To protect kids from falling in “the pit” I guess.
