390 is under rated......they have been getting that kind of power to the wheels. Full exhaust and a 3:73 gear and you'll be knockin' on the 11 sec. door

Damn fun ride. I just wished that they would update the interior with the materials from at least the late 90s. Other than that, good luck with it.

I didnt pay a dime over sticker for it, this is my second cobra. For those interested in the southeast, Gene Evans Fod of Union City, GA, ALWAYS sells cars at sticker, what they have in stock is what they have, and they will gladly take a deposit....this car is SCARY fast! I am having a blast...its been raining..but as soon as its stops, I'll get pics of her up for you guys *does the Tim the Toolman Taylor Grunt* hehe

I was on Barrett Pkwy earlier tonight with all the other little racer boys (lets face it, I am 19 afterall) showing them up...the rain got so bad, I ended up stopping twice on the interstate, and saw some nasssssty accidents. Didnt realize there were so many ATL-type folk runnin' around these boards. Cant wait to get enough time in the dry to wash wax and photograph her...beautiful car. Cant think of a better deal for 400+ HP than 35 grand. Now I just gotta find me an unsuspecting C5 'Vette to beat up on <g>.

There's plenty of guys here that don't have acuras. No need to bail; we thrive on diversity here. Don't worry, we won't look down on you because you bought a POS Ford.

...j/k ...well sort of...

well, I did actually own a Ford; a 93' probe GT(new). The first time it rained the car died in the middle of I-95. After that was fixed, my third gear went out. They fixed that, and then the paint started peeling off the car. Air conditioner died soon after. The resale value on Fords reflect the problems people encounter with them. I have no doubt you would smoke my ass with your ford...but honestly I still wouldn't want one. Try dealing with Ford customer service when you have problems...talk about a fucking nightmare...

but maybe they've improved since then...who knows.

i friend of mine at work has a mustang cobra. i agree they are scary fast. nobody really needs that much power. it is just ridiculous.

anyway, part of the reason i bought a CL Type S was for the luxury. no luxury at all in a mustang cobra. very spartan interior.

my friend has the "mineral grey" which is a terrible name for a color. simiar to the desert silver that the rsx comes in. i would much prefer for the CL to be available in desert silver rather than anthracite. i just don't like the acura anthracite color very much. the bmw anthracite is much better.

:pfawk: :pfawk: :pfawk: Everyone wishes they were union. We have 2000 guys out of work right now, out of a total 10000. I'm in local #3, the electrical union in NYC. We started ferlo. That mean we have to take a mandatory 10 weeks off from work so that other people can work and keep there benifits. if six months passes without benfits, you lose them.
