Good rotor/pads deals active?

I searched and found only older (6-9 months) group buys for brake rotors and pads. Does anyone know of any active group buys (like the Brembo gb from about a year ago)? Or any good deals on the web for drilled and slotted rotors with good pads for the 2nd gen CL?

Thnaks.

I bought the Rotora brake kit (rotors, pads) for around 300 but now I noticed autocarparts.com doesn't list them ??? wonder what happened ?? I have been very happy with the increased stopping power. You don't say how much you're $$$,,,

from Tirerack:
I think I will upgrade to the following:
1) Powerslot Sloted/dimpled front rotors: $242
2) Satisfied Ceramic rear and front: $80
3) SS brake line: $150
4) new DOT-4 fluid
5) emergency brake calibration.

Around $500 would be spent on the brakes.

Why not the Brembos instead of the Powerslots for $4 more?

I'd seen the TR stuff, but the group buy on the Brembos last year included the 4 rotors, pads, and new lines for less than $300 shipped! That's more my style than the TR prices.

So I guess nobody has any current GBs running, eh? I guess I can wait. Maybe I'll get the dealer to turn the OEMs in the meantime.

At $224.00 for the fronts, I'd still go with the Brembos.

Will do. Still a week or two out. They have not made rear rotors for the CL-S before. Taking a little longer than normal.

The Rotoro rotors and Axis Ultimate pads I got from Snook on the group buy are awesome!

They bite like crazy and look great too. No more rusty rotors!

I would highly recommend them, especially for the price.

Be prepared for significantly more brake dust-however, that is just a price you have to pay for better stopping power.

Anyone who got the rotors/pads from Wood/Race Concepts last year care to comment on their satisfaction with the materials? I haven't seen any complaints, so I assume it was good stuff and people are happy?

Maybe he'll be interested in setting up another groupbuy this year. I'm waiting for him to return my call now...

No one?

Okay, I just heard from the guys at Race Concepts and they're in the process of relocating to a bigger facility - so they can't do a group buy for awhile. And Wood is no longer with the company.

Maybe next month they'll be ready and I'll try to organize a gb like Joe (NovawhiteTypeS) did last spring.
