stupid question but where is a good jack point on the cl that i can use without using the temp jack?

 

if you look about almost a foot away from each tire going into the car you'll see black rectangular jetisons pointing down that are probably about 3-4 inches in length...those are the jacking points

There's also one in the front, and back... as listed in the helms manual (best $75 I've spent)...

If you use those, make sure you're not on the plastic peice in the front... I've never used the back jack point... Shawn has jackstands under the oem scissor jack points.

The ones that biglizard and gc86 are talking about are the same ones used by the oem scissor jack. Page 297 of the owners manual has a picture... and before you say you don't have the owners manual, there' one online here:
