Gonna trade in my....

Hey all, I've been tossing the idea of trading in my VW Golf for an S2000. I can get almost 10grand for the stereo that's in it and prolly another 15-18 grand as a trade in on the vw, making the S2000 affordable. I think it would be sweet to have a car that is great for autocrossing like the S2000 and I can cruise with my head under the starts...what do you guys think?

Wait until they come out with the hardtop option. That way some jerkoff with a knife can't cut up your rroof. Thats one thing I hate about convertibles.

you can already order a hardtop from the factory, it's a $4600 option

or you can buy the mugen carbon fibre roof for $5000....

I think a guy with a $10,000 stereo in his VW, a 911 twin-turbo, a CL-S with $19,000 in mods, and a 4x4 to tow the boat and jet skis, can afford a Honda with ease. No need to trade in the VW.

LOL

Astroboy calls me an "elitist prick", yet I don't have to explain that I have a 4x4 to "tow the boat and jet skis". Go figure.

Jump on down off your high horse, Astroboy.

Do it the S2000 is a fun car. I'd go for the hardtop if ya looking to take it to the track.

HELL, you seem to have the money.
Why buy 4-Cylinders when you can have TEN.

You want a convertible, BUY A VIPER !!!!!!!

Shawn S

PS....I like Mike's idea too.

Hey Astro! Whats going on man?

I think it would be an excellent idea. Get a white one, with the Mugen Carbon Fiber hood, or get a spa yellow one.

That car looks soooooo tight with springs, then add the comptech supercharger and you're set.

I say DO IT!!!

Whats going on in Canada today?

Yea, do it.

Get either Spa Yellow or Blue.

You canadians have the blue right?

Either way... g'head and trade that shitty lil v-dub.

I would kill for a Spa Yellow S2000 to go along with my CL-S... but it just aint happenin.

I loved my '89 Golf - it drove well, was easy to fix on my own and never let me down. Not a piece of shit.

Soop, I liked the pic of your g/f better. LOL!

Hey at least all of you have the car. He could just get me a cl-s and I would be able to change my signature.

You have so many cars??????? Hey after you trade in the S2000, just keep it stock, but add the hard top so that it looks more like a coupe, except the A-pillar is still black.

pretty nice to add to your fleet. i'd personally sell the vw and save the cash to either get a REALLY FAST convertible or just do crazy mods to one of your cars.
