K so we all know the problem with our cars is it keeps retuning itself, so it's hard to work on.

But I was looking at this thing on ebay and who knows, it might work.

I was hoping someone with more knowledge than myself could verify whether or not this isn't a bogus mod. Cause apparently it work on a RSX typs S and gave it 8.6 HP and 6.3 TQ.
http://www.nextlevelracing.com/Dyno%...ts/2003RSX.JPG
^^^^ rsx dyno

So i find it hard to be entirely BS.

PLUS it's got an on/off switch which is exactly why I'm thinking it may work for our CLs cause it's a BRIEF signal modification to the car. so the ecu shouldn't have enough time to hamper the gains.???

Can someone look into this matter? or has it been done already? or what

never heard of it now have i read anyone using it on a tl/cl. rsx is a more tunable engine. anything u do will give it more hp.

save ur money and get headers. a friend is gonna start selling headers (dont know the exact date but he wanted to sell me a set but im going turbo so i would have no use for them) so a friend is gonna get a set and test them out. he is currently running them on his j swapped civic. they will a a few buck more than that ebay shit.

I can see where you were going with this but these type of products are B.S. If they were legit everyone on here would have had it by now.

tru... i want headers don't get me wrong, I just want all the pwr i can get. and the ECU is the hardest thing to touch on these cars!!.

my buddy shaved a SECOND off his 1/4 mile time with intake, u bend exhaust delete and a custom tune. on his 2002 grand prix gt

LOL... the tune did EVERYTHING

That's why i was curious.

Nothing seems to be worth while though with our ecu's.

Those headers your friend is selling. do they look like CT headers or are they better? cause i was talking to sean at P2R and he said the ones they fabbed up were better because of the placement of the collectors or something. He said it's like 30% better than CT ones.

Just wondering what the style will be like?

Does he have any plans on getting it carb certified? I want headers but can't justify the Comptechs. DC headers haven't been available for awhile.

Unless there are other options for headers that have carb certification.

cost way to much money to get them carb legal. and it will be close to the comptech's price. for around $200 for headers is not bad, well not bad for ppl that dont live in cali

Actually guys i know the whole story about these. These things DO actually do something, but it is a very IMPROPER way to give your car more "kick". These "Chips" actually just Fuck with your fuel lines and pump a higher rate of fuel through your motor, which will give you a little bit of "boost" when driving and ultimately lead to a blown motor in a time thats EVEN FASTER than the life of the average CL/TL auto transmission. NOTICE THAT THE WARRANTY ON THESE THINGS ONLY COVER THE PRODUCT ITSELF AND SAY NOTHING ABOUT THEM BEING LIABLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

Flux capacitor is the best mod ever!

All jokes aside, its to bad the ECUs prevent mods like this.
