Going to Pick up my 01 CL tomorrow. Any recommendations?

Hey everyone I'm going to go pick up my 2001 CL-S (w/navi) tomorrow (if the deal goes through). I'm aware of the tranny recall and would actually be taking the car in for the service as soon as it's mine. Are there any other issues or things you all would advice that I look for on, in, under the hood, under the car, etc. before I seal the deal? What would you all advise reasonably trying to negotiate the price to? Here are the specs:

01 Acura CL-S w/ Navigation
78,000 Miles
Black Paint
Black Interior
2 Small Door dings on drivers side
Wheel(s) scuffed
some small hail marks on hood, and trunk

Asking $13,990.

These specs are just what were told to me by the dealer selling the car as I have yet to see the car b/c it's in another state.

Thanks,

-JAE

You should hassel about the two small door ding, the wheel(s) scuffed, and the small hail marks on the hood and trunk. The best outcome would be if they would replace it for free to get your willingness to buy. The least outcome would be they lower the price down. Usually if its not done right there, I'll be too lazy to do it later on.

Great choice by the way.

*test drive the car to ensure the rotors are not warped
*have them put the anti rattle tape on the sunroof
*listen for any rattle in the brake light area (some peeps have heard it there)
*do a quick run over a bump to see if the hood bolt(?) is tight (someone mentioned that is loose I think and makes a loud noise where some people thought it came from the dash)

check the version of the navigation disk. You should make them give you the latest or at least 2.11(?)

Yeah it's me. The Breeze blew another head gasket so I just said forget it. So hopefully this will be my new home.
