disapointing day
peak HP was 154 and w/ the n20 only 192. But it doesn't seem to make sense w/ the times i should be running. But oh well, i ran even numbers w/ a prelude that was running headers, intake, exhaust and a 50 shot and he only had me by 2 HP at 194 i believe

Wow, after our races I thought it would have DYNO'd much higher. What was the peak torque? Post the graph!! How much does your car weigh?

Hmm, I was dissapointed with my dyno results back in October. Now after seeing yours, I'm beginning to wonder whether Atomic's dyno is downplayin the power data or what, due to me runnin a peak of 177.1 and 159.9 with i/h/e, while I have seen numerous posts of other Acc v6's owners running 189 to 196 hp at the wheels peak. Case in point would be DVTurk running 191 hp to the wheels. Yes various engines have reacted to modifications differently and varyingly, and yes stock engines can come outta the factory with varying hp, but I still have to believe my luck couldn't be that bad. 154hp is even low for a stock j30a1 wheel hp results (160hp should be the norm), and you have a cai, right? I wonder if their Dynojet is properly calibrated or is even a good version? Also hate how they don't have it in the ground, but that comes with the the building location & situation.

eh, my mistake, 157 and not 154, so that's closer to a 160 stock power rating, but you still have an aftermarket intake, which even a short ram on BNut's raised his through the power band and especially at peak, something like 8 horses (you've seen the dyno sheet ofcourse at SHO)

I never understood how DVTurk got those numbers. He and I were running near identical mods and the best I could muster was a 165. AEM CAI, AEM Pulleys, Comptech Headers, hi-flow cat, Dual Remus exhaust. His car was either a miracle car or the dyno he was running was off. Most 3.0 V-6ers have trouble getting in the 170s let alone 190s.

Doesn't UPRD have a 4 wheel dynometer?? I'd think if anyone has that, their dynometers should be pretty damn accurate.

IMO -- I think dynos are not that accurate from one location to another...
It is just my opinion, but there seems to be so much variation in the CLS dynos with the same gear.
Someone mentioned that they don't correct for humidity..
My thought is this. One place may be good (like a GTECH) for run-to-run testing. But, it may not be that great an idea to compare dynos done at one location to those done at another. If you then throw in the fact that Comptech and others use non DynoJet dynos, it all gets messed up.
(There is more to this as well...)
