Going to dealer for Service Tonight

I have an appointment at Pohanka Acura tonight to have them look at my brakes and complete the sunroof service bulletin.

Has anyone else gone to Pohanka for these services?

I mentioned in a previous post that I mentionted the vibration in the wheel, when braking, to them on 2 prior service appointments and they came back saying that they could find nothing wrong. Also, with 28K on the car I'm wondering if they'll charge me for front brake pads (some people mentioned here that they got theirs replaced free of charge).

Should I mention to the service guy that I read about brake problems on here and that other dealers are replacing them (both rotors and pads) under warranty?

Your advice is greatly appreciated!!! :p

I don’t think 28K life on front brakes for a “sports car” is all that unreasonable.

I agree... at 28K you're in sort of a gray area. Mine were replaced under warranty at 20K and I was SHOCKED!!!! I didn't ask nor expect that at all. But since I mentioned to the service advisor that I just recently moved to Phoenix and that I was equally close to both Acura dealers in town I think they were just being "nice" to win over a customer. It worked!! But it never hurts to play a card if you've got one!

Thanks, all, for the advice. I will certainly try to get out of paying for them if I can.
Anyone know what a pair of front brake pads costs to install (at the dealer)?
