So I have been searching web sites looking for other options and I sure seem to gravitate to BMW a lot ...

99 or 00 Z3 M Roadster
98 or 99 M3
00 or 01 330CI

All of the above are awesome cars for $30-34K! Acura is surely going to put my Acura loyalty to the test. I sure hope they do more than just dump the 6MT in the current car. I have to think they are going to try to make a good move, but if that is just my wishful thinking .. I might be going to the BMW dark side!!

I know the M Roadster is apples to oranges, but that car is BAD A$$ and the 2001/2002 model - HOLY cow - 0-60 is like 4.5!! (prior was a measly 5.5) And I know these are legit ...

The M3 - looks dated to me now ... that is my only hold back on that one ... but the 330CI sure is a sweet looking ride! And certainly can hold its own performance wise with the CLS I am sure. Just has to be 1 year old with 15K miles on it to bring the price down in line with a new CLS.

Come on Acura - don't let me get away! And LA Auto Show - hurry up

What do you guys think? Am I the only one that sees this delima? I am sure I am not ...

Hmmm - didn't know there was a final answer on this type of question

Any way - I am sure folks will have some recent thoughts on this ... let me know what you think others. I have always thought the premium on the BMW was just not worth it, but those things just feel solid and look solid.
