Gas prices???

Just wondering how much the gas prices have dropped around the country.
I don't know about everyone else, but filling up with super and only being $37 to do it has made me a happier person.
Here is a sign from down the street...

I just filled up my legacy with 87 octane on friday night and it was $2.129 per gallon! It's good to see prices coming down, but they're still not low enough.

3.03 at my local Shell for premium. I have heard it's 2.70 in some areas, but the South San Francisco Costco has premium for 2.77. Wish I was paying 2.50 or less for premium.

There was some story in the news the other day that said the government was waiting to lower the prices so that there wouldn't be another recession like the great depression...
Siad something about how dropping the cost to fast would cause to many people to go out spending like crazy and dropping the value of the dollar...
I don't know, I'm no political advisor...

The Village Idiots' (the whitehouse resident) popularity ratings were low and the upcoming House and Senate race in Novemember. I'll be back up to 3.00+ by January. .

gas prices came down becasue the price of a barrel of oil came down. anyone who is stupid enough to believe that the President of the USA had anything to do with this.....well let's just say I got the Brooklyn bridge for sale.............

we could have oil a lot cheaper if we

a. DRILLED FOR WHAT WE GOT
b. INCREASED OUR CAPACITY TO REFINE OIL

so next time you see that envrionmental wacko you can thank them with a slap right up side their head.........

Looks like the only viliage idiot is the one who looks to call someone else the village idiot..........

I just paid 2.79 for 93. And 2.59 for 87. I still see stations with $2.85+ for 93.

I'm starting to like the gas prices these days. Saw $2.49 for Premium and $2.39 for Plus this morning.

Although 2 weeks ago I was at my in-laws in VA and I paid $2.29 for Premium, regular was under $2.00. I haven't seen that in maybe 2 years.

If the thread isn't about a 2G CL where does it belong ?? Correct... Cartalk...

Additionally, a repost was found (in car talk):

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=348345&page=3

And if you want to debate how big oil runs the whitehouse (or not) you can do that here:
