reason I said that is because people were posting prices of regular, so I just wanted to clarify what price that I was stating...

last week OPEC said it was cutting production by like 4 mil bbl a day, but i didn't think gas prices would spike so quickly.

it goes back to supply and demand. If you got people willing to pay 2-3 bucks for gas when there is a "limited supply" they will pay that.

i heard they will cut production this summer so 2 dollar gas here in Ohio and easy 3 dollar for all you california guys this summer. I guess the CLs will get parked

I just paid 98.9 cents per litre for 94 at Chevron here in Vancouver.

What's the price per gallon for that?

So that means, in USD, I'm paying about $2.80 per gallon.

there is about 4 liters per gallon(it's a shade less) but i'll just use 4 for a even figure
so 4 liters at 99 cents per liter is 3.96 per gallon canadian
I just checked the exchange rate.(as of 3:00)
in American dollars he just paid $2.96 per gallon American

You guys do realize the prices increases have a lot to do with the current administration. Thanks to Bush who gave us unprecedented trade deficits and federal budget deficits that drove down the US currency Cheap US currency means cheaper US products overseas, which means the US export companies and foreign subsidiaries will show better earnings on paper, and this increases the share prices in Wall Street and make Bush look good. Bush insists on keeping the US currency low during the election year. But it does not do the people, that's us, any good. It is good for the Republican supported export companies, but for us consumers this is ONLY THE BEGINNING for higher prices

Take a look around your house and see how much imported goods we buy. These goods will go up if not already just like the gas!!! The solution---- come November, get Bush out of the White House
